Tims Ford State Park will hold its annual live public auction for seasonal campsites at the Fairview Campground on Friday, March 29. Bidders must be present for the live auction at 1 p.m. and must register between noon and 1 p.m.

The park will offer 18 full hook-up camper trailer sites for rent for the entire camping season, which begins April 1 and ends September 30, 2013, though October is optional. The minimum bids will be $300 or $350 per site per month (depending on the site). Additionally, the first and last month’s rent must be paid the day of the auction.

Fairview Campground, located at 263 Fairview Campground Road in Winchester, is a satellite area of Tims Ford State Park. For more information about the auction, contact the park’s office at 931-962-1183.

Long Hunter State Park hosts Halloween Hunt 5-Mile Run on Oct. 27
This event is part of the 34th Annual Tennessee State Parks Running Tour. The race will include two laps around Couchville Lake. Awards will be presented in five age categories and there will also be a Halloween costume contest. Early registrants will receive a t-shirt. For more info, call 615-889-1306.

We will change brakes and pack wheel bearings on all pull behinds no problem! Few things we will do for motorhomes on the other hand though such as A/C work, belts pulleys, electrical, leveling jacks, etc. . . We do have a Master Certified “ASE” tech on hand and I am currently in training to become a Master Certified RV Tech.
